Erma Mae Geissinger, age 92, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 1:00pm at the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Upper Sandusky.

She was born December 1, 1921 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Charles and Catherine (Wilkie) Green, both of whom are deceased. She married Rev. Frank Oliver Geissinger on August 2, 1944 and he passed away on June 15, 2001.

Erma Mae is survived by 2 children, Rev Wayne (Connie) Geissinger of Kenton, and Rev. Audrey G. ( Rev. Carl) Ritter of Manning, South Carolina. 4 grandchildren, Russell (Shauna) Geissinger, Lincoln (Dawn) Geissinger, Jeremy (Wendy) Geissinger and Dale (Sara) Geissinger and 10 great grandchildren, along with a great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Raymond and Calvin Green and a sister Doris Fox.

Erma Mae was a homemaker and gave private piano and organ lessons in her home for over 23 years.

She was a member of the John Stewart United Methodist Church in Upper Sandusky, where she was a member of the Susanna Hope Circle of the United Methodist Church.

For hobbies, Erma Mae enjoyed baking, sewing, crocheting, square dancing with her husband Oliver, and also traveling together throughout the states.

After moving to Upper Sandusky, Erma Mae volunteered with Wyandot County Council of Aging in the delivery of meals throughout the county.

Funeral services for Erma Mae Geissinger will be private with burial taking place at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens, Beverly Hills, Florida.

Memorial contributions may be made to John Stewart United Methodist Church Endowment Fund and can be sent to Lucas-Batton Funeral Home, 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, Ohio, 43351.
