Elladyne Romich

Elladyne Romich, 90, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 in Wooster, OH at West View Retirement Community.

Elladyne was born on June 13, 1924 near Upper Sandusky to the late Harry J. and Edna Secoy. She was a 1942 graduate of Eden High School and married Albert Romich in February, 1944. He preceded her in death in November, 2005.

Elladyne was an active homemaker and helped manage the family farm in Wyandot County.

Surviving are four children Pat (Wayne) Bare, Wooster, OH; Jim (Abigail Hughes) Romich, Melbourne, FL; Deb (Bob) Fischer, Westerville, OH: and Mark (Becky) Romich, Upper Sandusky, OH, as well as seven grandchildren, Briana Knoll, John Romich, Jessica Romich, Cydney Bare, Stephen Bare, Jenny Romich, David Romich, and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Grace Huffman, Robert Secoy, Miriam Swihart, Frederick Secoy, Merle Secoy, Gerald Secoy, Mary Secoy, Martha Belzner, Edwin Secoy and Maurice Secoy and a sister-in-law, Ida Mae DeLong.

A memorial service for Elladyne Romich will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, October 2 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky. A private burial will take place at another time.

Visitations will be held on Wednesday, October 1. from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home, Upper Sandusky.

A reception in Elladyne's honor will be held at West View Healthy Living, 1715 Mechanicsburg Rd., Wooster, OH, on Monday, September 29 from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. for family members to receive friends and thank staff members who provided excellent care during her nearly 8 years at West View.
