Elizabeth Ann (Vanscoder) Mcclain

Elizabeth "Beth" Ann McClain, age 41, of Bucyrus, Ohio, passed away at 1:52 PM on Friday, April 18, 2025, at the Bucyrus Hospital.

Beth was born on February 12, 1984, to Patricia Stone, and John VanScoder Sr.

Beth is survived by her daughter Paris VanScoder of Marion, son Izaiah McClain of Columbus, mother Patricia Stone of Bucyrus, father John (Carissa) VanScoder Sr. of Upper Sandusky, 5 siblings, Kathy (Alycia Skidmore) Akers of Carey, Tommy (Stephanie) VanScoder of Bucyrus, Jessica VanScoder of Bloomville, John VanScoder Jr. of Bucyrus, Sarah Skidmore of Mansfield, Larry Akers of Marion, along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Beth was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ray and Carolyn Hurst, paternal grandparents, Harold Thomas and Beulah Katherine VanScoder, and her siblings, James, Phillip, Bobbie Jo, and Emily Laub.

Beth enjoyed going on bike rides and taking walks, going treasure shopping at the Bargain Barn, playing cards, listening to music, sitting on the front porch drinking coffee, watching crime shows and coloring.

Beth was a fighter. She will be remembered for how kind and loving she was.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at 5:00 PM on Friday, April 25, 2025, at her brother's house, 811 Woodlawn Ave, Bucyrus, OH 44820.
