Edward E. Lantz

Edward E. Lantz, age 67, of Marion, Ohio passed away on Sunday February 26, 2012
at the Marion General Hospital in Marion.

Ed was born on July 20, 1945 in Waverly, New York to Earl and Hazel (Vosburg) Lantz, both of whom are deceased. He was once married to Linda F. Summers and she is deceased.

Surviving are 6 sons, Ed E. (Julie) Lantz Jr., of Bucyrus, Trent A. Lantz of Bucyrus, Terry G. Lantz of Bowling Green, Jerry D. Lantz of Bucyrus, Dave C. (Lea) Lantz of Nevada, Shawn L. Lantz of Bucyrus. 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren also survived along with a brother Chuck H. (Mary) Lantz, and 3 sisters, Joann Young of Nevada, Betty Johnston of Sayre, PA and Roberta Stowits of Waverly, New York.

Ed was preceded in death by a brother Donald and 3 sisters, Dorothy Newland, Thelma Irwin and Colia Newland.

Ed had worked at the Equip Co. 1 of Admiral Merchants Trucking Company and had previously worked at Garner Trucking, Teynor Mobile Home and Starkey Glass.

For hobbies he enjoyed bodywork and painting cars, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held at 5:30pm Saturday, March 3 at the Nevada Fire Hall, in Nevada, Ohio.

The family will received friends at the Nevada Fire Hall from 4:00pm to 5:30pm on Saturday.
