Edna M. Smith

Edna M. Smith, age 92, of Hilltop Dr. Upper Sandusky, Ohio died
Sunday, December 16, 2007 at 12:03am at Wyandot Memorial Hospital in Upper Sandusky.

She was born on August 5, 1915 in Millwood Township, Guernsey County, Ohio to William T. & Leota McBurney. Edna graduated from Quaker City
High School in Quaker City, Ohio in 1933, and then went on to attend The Actual Business College.

She married J. Howard Smith on June 10, 1941 in Newark Ohio and he died September 11, 2004.

Surviving is her daughter Dr. Beverly A. Smith of Upper Sandusky, Ohio. Also surviving are 4 nieces and 1 nephew.

Edna was preceded in death by her husband Howard and 2 sisters Cora and Pearl.

She was a homemaker and had worked as a secretary for the Upper Sandusky School System.

Edna was a member of John Stewart United Methodist Church where she was a member of the United Methodist Women and a former president of the WSCS. She was a member of the hospital guild of Wyandot Memorial Hospital. For several years Edna served as the director of Mobile Meals. For hobbies she enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles.
