Dianna L. Frey

Dianna L. Frey, age 49, of Wyandot, in rural Nevada, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2014 at 2:48pm at the Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

Dianna was born on September 6, 1964 in Upper Sandusky, Ohio, to father, William (Pat) Putman of Morral, Ohio, and mother, Sadie (Newman) Kirby, who is deceased.
She married Tom Frey on February 21, 1981 at the Harpster United Methodist Church and he survives.

Dianna is survived by a son, Thomas Nicholas (Sarah Thornton) Frey of Nevada and 2 grandsons, Aaron and Logan Frey.

She is also survived by a brother, Bill Putman of Upper Sandusky,Ohio and 2 sisters, Brenda (Ray) Reynolds of Fernandina Beach, Florida and Bonnie Sayre of Papillion, Nebraska.

Dianna was a co-manager of the Speedway in Upper Sandusky. Before that she had worked at Checkmate Boats in Bucyrus, and the former Blackhawk Manufacturing and Continental Hose, that were both located in Upper Sandusky.

For hobbies Dianna enjoyed racing in La Rue with her 1965 Chevelle, and enjoyed following Dale Earnhardt Jr. in NASCAR.

She also was a Bengals fan and enjoyed her spare time camping. She loved her pets, especially her dogs, Maggie Mae, Shorty and Diesel, and her bird Chavez, along with
her many cats. Her greatest love was her husband Tom, their son Nick, and their grandsons, Aaron and Logan.

Funeral services for Dianna L. Frey will be held at 11:00am Friday, February 7, 2014 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, with Pastor Mike Corwin officiating. Burial will follow at Little Sandusky Cemetery.

Visitations will be held on Thursday, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.
