Diane L. Roberts

Diane L. Roberts, age 78, passed away on Saturday morning, of April 22, 2023, at the Morrow Manor Nursing Center in Chesterville, Ohio.

Diane was born on August 13, 1944, in New London, CT, to Donald Forbes and Doris Autrey, and she was raised by her mother and adopted father, Ewing Robertson. She was once married to George M. Roberts.

Diane is survived by her son Rick (Dawn) Roberts of Upper Sandusky, 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, her adopted father Ewing Robertson of Upper Sandusky, her sister Deb Robertson of Upper Sandusky, and her friend William Tunstill III of Austin, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sons, Douglas Roberts, Randall Lee Roberts, daughter Vicki Roberts, brother Donald "Bud" Robertson, and her sister Donna Sorrells.

Diane graduated from Upper Sandusky High Scholl in 1962, and attended Marion Technical College where she studied Nursing. Diane worked in various restaurants serving and bartending for many years. Diane was also an insurance agent for Combined Insurance Co. of America.

For hobbies, Diane enjoyed reading and writing, watching OSU Football, cooking, singing, traveling, mushroom hunting, and simply spending time outside.  Diane was an avid Elvis Presley fan, and enjoyed collecting Elvis memorabilia, listening to Elvis' music, and watching his movies.

A funeral service for Diane Roberts will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky and will be officiated by Diane's friend, Pat Tobin. Burial will follow at Old Mission Cemetery.

Visitations will be held from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Thursday, prior to the funeral service.
