Derrick A. Dyer

Derrick A. Dyer, age 64, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at the OSU James Cancer and Research Center in Columbus, Ohio.

Derrick was born on August 1, 1959, in Columbus, Ohio, to William Palmer and Evelyn Joan (Lobdell) Dyer. He was married to Cathy Louise Moyer and she preceded him in death on December 21, 1986.

Derrick is survived by his son Kevin (Anne) Dyer of Tiffin, daughter Deborah Dyer of Upper Sandusky, 5 grandchildren: Isaiha, Kristin, Dalton, Cathy, and Abby. Derrick is also survived by his 5 siblings, Sonny Dyer of South Carolina, Douglas Dyer of Columbus, Joan Salyer of Upper Sandusky, Greg Dyer of Forest, and Darrin Dyer of Upper Sandusky.

Derrick was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brother Ed Dyer.

Derrick graduated from Mohawk High School in 1979 where he enjoyed participating in FFA. He loved spending time with his dog Maximus, playing around with his tractors, and he loved his 4-wheel drives.

Funeral services for Derrick A. Dyer will be private.
