Dema I. Wamack-Gossard

Dema Irene Wamack-Gossard, age 70, of Nevada, Ohio died on Sunday,
June 13, at 6:22pm in the Emergency Room of Wyandot Memorial Hospital in Upper Sandusky.

She was born on October 29, 1939, to Leroy and Mildred (Columber) Wamack, both of whom are deceased. She was married to Douglas Gossard on September 16, 1989, and he survives in Nevada.

She has two grandchildren, Allen Michael Ochier of Nevada and Michelle Buckner of Bucyrus and two step grandchildren, Eric Gossard and Stephanie Gossard both of Kenton.

Dema is survived by three sisters, Elizabeth "Betty" (Charles) Jacobs of Nevada, Mary Brown of Marion, Leeann (Ken) Kiester of Crestline.

She is preceded in death by a son James Allen Ochier and a
sister, Carol Long.

Dema was a member of Woman Aux. at Eagles #2184 of Upper Sandusky. Dema enjoyed making key chains to give away, she loved to fish, shop, and talk to friends. She loved her dogs, birds, and all animals.
Dema loved everyone and had an extended family of about one hundred, if not more, who called her Grandma. She loved her family and was looking forward to a new great grandchild. Dema had a hard life, but was always there for anyone who needed her. She will be greatly missed.


Funeral Services for Dema Gossard will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, June 18, 2010 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, with Pastor Scott Johnson officiating the services. Burial will follow at the Nevada Cemetery.

Visitations will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2010 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.
