Debra "Deb" Jean Passet, age 67, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away surrounded by her family, at 10:33 PM on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at Wyandot Memorial Hospital in Upper Sandusky.

Deb was born on August 27, 1954 in Upper Sandusky, to Wallace and Arabel (Hudson) Passet.

Deb is survived by her sister Donna (Jim) Morris of Upper Sandusky, her brother Dean (Peggy) Passet of Upper Sandusky, and 10 nieces and nephews: Yvonne, Jann, Bill, Terri, Billy, Paige, Scott, Tessa, Deana, and Eric, along with many great and great great nieces and nephews, and many close friends.

Deb was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Dixie (Kenneth) Gottfried, brother Dennis (Katie) Everhart, niece Melissa Jo, and her nephew Jeff.

Deb graduated from Upper Sandusky High School – Class of 1972 and went on to attend Tiffin University where she received her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.

Deb worked for many years at The Pour House where she was known as "Magic Madge." Deb was also an accountant at the Wyandot County Engineer's Office and she was the Director of the Wyandot County Board of Elections. She retired from both in 2019.

Deb was a member of Trinity Evangelical United Methodist Church where she was involved in small groups and volunteered to serve at the coffee bar. Deb was the Treasurer for the Wyandot County Republican Party and she was a member of the Ladies of the Upper Sandusky Moose Lodge #1093.

Deb enjoyed fishing, going to casinos, family vacations, and traveling with her friends. She collected sports memorabilia - especially sports cards. She enjoyed playing Euchre, and she was known as the Trivial Pursuit Champion. Deb also enjoyed trips to Amish Country and especially enjoyed going to the Amish Bakery's.

Deb was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching all of her nieces and nephews sporting events, and following the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians, and The Ohio State Buckeyes.

The family requests that those attending the services for Deb wear their Browns, Indians, or Buckeyes gear.

A memorial service for Deb Passet will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, March 24, 2022, at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, and will be officiated by Pastor Jim Stauffer and Pastor Steve Sturgeon. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Visitations for Deb will be held from 2:00 – 4:00 PM and 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at the Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to LifeLine of Ohio (organ donation center), Hospice of Wyandot Memorial, Open Door Resource Center, or a Charity of the Donor's Choice and can be sent to Lucas-Batton at 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, OH 43351.
