Deborah "Debbie" A. Grasley

Deborah "Debbie" A. Grasley, age 60, of Bucyrus, died Sunday, July 26, 2009 at Unity Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Debbie was born on December 16, 1948 in Bucyrus, Ohio to Edgar Parker, who is deceased and Mary C. (Louis) Parker- Frost, who survives in Nevada. She was also preceded in death by her step-father Theodore "Ted" Frost. She married Charles F. Grasley on June 7, 1969. He died March 30, 2006.

She is survived by a son, Charles Grasley of Bucyrus and a daughter, Amy Walker of Bucyrus along with a granddaughter, Adrianna Aroche. A sister, Kim Frost of Nevada and 2 brothers, Gary (Teresa) Parker and Bob (Carol) Parker, both of Bucyrus.

Debbie was preceded in death by her father, stepfather, husband and a brother, Allen Parker and a sister, Barbara Parker.

She was a homemaker and a long time member of the Nevada Lutheran Church. She was a graduate of Wynford High School and for hobbies she enjoyed going to auctions and garage sales, vegetable gardening, reading, going to Limestone Lake and her dog Dusty. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter Adrianna.

Funeral services for Deborah A. Grasley will be held at 11:00am Thursday July 30, 2009 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Nevada, Ohio with the Rev. Robert Hamilton officiating the services. Burial will follow at the Nevada Cemetery in Nevada, Ohio.

Visitations will be held on Wednesday, July 29 from 2pm - 4pm and 6pm - 8pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Nevada, Ohio.
