David G. Crow, age 83, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio died suddenly at his home on Sunday, October 12, 2008.
David was born on September 10, 1925 in Loudonville, Ohio, to Glenn and Rachel (Kennset) Crow. He married Alberta L. Swartz on September 5, 1952 in Delaware, Ohio and she survives.
He is also survived by a daughter Deborah (Michael) King , and grandsons Zachary and Colin King, all of Westerville, Ohio.
David is also survived by brothers, Thomas Crow of Groton, Massachusetts, and Andrew Crow of Upper Sandusky. As well as
sisters, Anne Gilleran of Birmingham, Michigan, Martha Crow of Brooklyn, New York, Mary Crow of Ft. Collins, Colorado and Nancy (John Stitzlein) Crow of Baltimore, Ohio along with many nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Rachel Campociaro
David owned and operated Crow Motor Sales in Upper Sandusky until 1981. He also was the Chairman of the Board of Uni-Grip, Inc., also in Upper Sandusky.
He was a long time member of the First Presbyterian Church in Upper Sandusky. A life member of the BPOE #83 in Upper Sandusky. Warpole Lodge #176 F&AM, McCutchen Chapter #96 RAM, Upper Sandusky Council #98 RSM, Marion Commandery and Aladdin Temple of the Shrine, Columbus. He also served during WWII in the United States Army Air Corps.
David enjoyed attending gatherings of his extended family and having coffee with his friends at the "Breakfast Club". He had a lifelong love of cars and enjoyed flying and golfing while his health permitted.
A private burial will take place in Loudonville Cemetery with
the Rev. Kenneth Wessler officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church or Wyandot Memorial Hospital's Coronary Care Unit and
can be sent to Lucas-Batton Funeral Home, 476 S. Sandusky Ave.

A public memorial service will be announced at a later date.
