Danny R. "Cruiser" Holdcraft

Danny R. "Cruiser" Holdcraft, age 65, of Nevada, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, March 03, 2015 at 3:25pm at his home in Nevada.

Danny was born on June 29, 1949 in Upper Sandusky, Ohio, to Robert and Josephine (Vent) Holdcraft, both of whom are deceased. He was once married to Kathy Watkins and then married Sandra Landoll on June 8, 1991 in Nevada, and she survives.

He is survived by 4 children, Chrystal McCord of Nashville, Tennessee, Benjamin Holdrcaft of Nashville, Kelly (Jesse) Teynor of Nevada, and Lee O'Flaherty of Upper Sandusky. 7 grandchildren, Katelynn, Haley, Kane, Hunter , Bentley, Reilly and Kylie and one great grandson, Ayden. Along with a brother, Gary (Jenny) Holdcraft of Upper Sandusky.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Holdcraft.

Danny, along with his wife Sandy, owned Cruiser's Drive Thru in Nevada for the past 16 years. Before that he had worked at Bucyrus Blade, A.O Smith in Upper, Transco in Bucyrus and Honeycreek in Wyandot.

He was a member of the Nevada Lodge #343 F&AM, and the Eliminators Car Club in Bucyrus.

For hobbies Danny enjoyed restoring cars, especially his 35 Ford Coup, 50 and 60's music and anything nostalgic. And most of all he loved spending time with his family.
He will be greatly missed.

Funeral services for Danny Holdcraft will be held at 10:00am Friday, March 6, 2015 at the Nevada United Methodist Church with the Rev. Matt Garrabrant and Rev. Ricky Chambers officiating.

Visitations will be held on Thursday, March 5, from 3:00pm to 8:00pm, with the family present from 3-5pm and 6-8pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Nevada and 1 hour before service time at the church on Friday. There will be a Masonic Memorial Service to be held at 8:00pm on Thursday.
