Daniel A. Newman

Daniel A. Newman, age 72, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at his home in Upper Sandusky.

Dan was born on February 19, 1952, in Delaware, Ohio, to Darys "Ace" and Rachel (Moloney) Newman, both of whom are deceased.  He married Teresa Moll on June 1, 1996, and she survives.

He is also survived by 3 sons; Robert (Tina) Newman of Tiffin, Richard Best of Republic, and Nathan Molnar of Marion, along with many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Dan is also survived by 3 brothers, Jack (Connie) Newman of Manona, Wisconsin, Thomas (Luz)  Newman of Conway, Arkansas, and Kevin (Anne) Newman of Edina, Minnesota.

He was preceded in death by a son, Jason Molnar, and a brother, Bill Newman.

Dan had worked at the former Continental Hose in Upper Sandusky for over 30 years as a machinist.  He also worked in earlier years for his father's business, Newman Pontiac in Upper Sandusky.

For hobbies, Dan enjoyed playing golf and also camping with Teresa at Wild Wings Campground at Lake Erie.

Funeral services for Daniel A. Newman will be private with burial taking place at Old Mission Cemetery.
