Cynthia L. "Cindy" Rathburn

Cynthia L. "Cindy" Rathburn, age 69, of Upper Sandusky, passed away at 12:10 am on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at the Wyandot Memorial Hospital.

Cindy was born on October 29, 1954, in Upper Sandusky, to Pearl Rathburn and Donna (Henry) Rathburn Baker and they preceded her in death.

Cindy is survived by her daughter, Sarah (Sean) Edgington, grandchildren: Aliah, Eli, and Hudsyn Edgington, all of Upper Sandusky, 2 sisters, Paula (Dick) Ritter of Upper Sandusky, Lori (Dave) Walters of Forest, brother Brad (Peggy) Rathburn of Findlay, 10 nieces and nephews: David Tucker, Cory Tucker, Eric Tucker, Melissa Tucker, Matt Tucker, Ryan Rathburn, Amanda Renwand, Brandi Boes, Josh Rathburn, and Chris Rathburn, along with many great nieces and nephews.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters: Mickey Tucker, Amy Tucker, and Rosalie "Posie" Stander, 2 brothers: Randy and Gregory Rathburn, and 1 niece, Rhonda Dauterman.

Cindy graduated from Upper Sandusky High School in 1972 and she worked at Westinghouse/AO Smith for 30 years. Cindy then went on to work at Bridgestone for 9 years, until her retirement in 2011.

Cindy enjoyed listening to country music, scratch off lottery tickets, playing Bingo on her computer, and spending time with her grandchildren. Cindy loved spending time with her family especially during the holidays, and she always loved a good cup of coffee.

A graveside service for Cindy Rathburn will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at Old Mission Cemetery, in Upper Sandusky, and will be officiated by Rev. Jim Stauffer.
