Corrine L. Walter

Corrine L. Walter, age 98, of rural Upper Sandusky, Ohio
passed away Monday, May 3, 2010 at 5:08pm at her
residence in Upper Sandusky.

Corrine was born on June 15, 1911, in Richland Township, Wyandot County, to Lewis and Angeline (Shane) Kimmel both of whom are deceased. She married F. Milton Walter on August 22, 1936 in Carey, and he passed away on December 24, 1961.

Corrine is survived by her children Dwain (Linda) Walter of Ft. Pierce, FL, Jane A. (Troy)Vinson of Galloway, Ohio, Gary Walter, of Upper Sandusky, and Joe (Julie) Walter, of Port Clinton. Six grandchildren, Ted Walter, of Ft. Pierce, Steve Walter of Kenton, Terry L. (Teresa) Vinson of Lancaster, Tina (William) Justice of Richmond Hill, Georgia, Melissa (Jerod) Keyes of Dayton, and Jeffrey Walter of Lynchburg, Virginia.

Corrine was a homemaker and helped out on the family farm. She was a member
of Wharton United Methodist Church, where she was involved with the United Methodist Women. For hobbies she enjoyed, crocheting, knitting, quilting and traveling, having traveled Europe when she was over 80 years old.

Funeral services for Corrine L. Walter will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 8, 2010, at the Wharton United Methodist Church with the Rev. Denny Livingston officiating.
Burial will follow in Zion Bloom Cemetery in Vanlue.

Visitations will be held an hour before service time at the church on Saturday.
