Clara E. (Kromer) Nash

Clara E. Nash, age 80, of Upper Sandusky, and formerly of Carey, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 1:23 am at the home of her sister in Upper Sandusky.

Clara was born on December 1, 1941 in Barberton, Ohio, to Robert D. and Alice (DeVene) Kromer, both of whom are deceased.  She was married to James Nash, and they were divorced.

Clara is survived by her 2 sons, Robert (Wendy) Nash of Arcadia, Ohio, Billy Nash of Upper Sandusky, 4 daughters, Susan Walter of Upper Sandusky, Terri (John) Hesson of Vanlue, Patricia "Trish" Nash of Kalbar, Australia, Carolyn Nash of Chattanooga, Tennessee. 12 grandchildren Ben Frasure, David, Sarah, and Rebecka Walter, Chris and Cory Hoy, Kyley Robey, Emma Nash, Holly Miller, Hannah Dishon, Lucas and Alex Mitchell. 15 great-grandchildren. Nova, Willow, Chris Hale, Madlyn, Koltyn, Lincoln, Sawyer, Lia, Miles, Macy, Cameron Benjamin, Olivia, Alexa, and Zeke survive along with 2 brothers, Harold (Karen) Kromer of New Haven, Indiana, Joe (Sheila) Kromer of Carey, and 2 sisters, Nora Connolly of Upper Sandusky, and Janice (Jerry) Ruppright of Findlay.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 grandchildren Danny and Cindy Hesson, 2 brothers, John and Paul Kromer, and a sister Martha.

Clara was a homemaker and had worked at a variety of places through the years, including owning and operating her own greenhouse.

She attended Trinity Evangelical Methodist Church in Upper Sandusky, and also Community Christian Center, where she went on mission trips in Kentucky and Mexico.

For hobbies Clara enjoyed trail riding on her horses, flower gardening, doing her jigsaw puzzles, making beautiful Quilts and clothing for her family and friends, studying genealogy, and she had a love for her dogs.

She will be remembered for her smile, words of encouragement, her giving heart and being a woman of faith.

Memorial services for Clara E. Nash will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 31, 2021, at Trinity Evangelical United Methodist Church in Upper Sandusky, and will be officiated by Rev. Jim Stauffer.

Visitations for Clara will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
