Charles P. Louderback, age 83, of Nevada and most recently a resident at Heartland in Bucyrus, died Sunday, March 21, 2010 at 5:32am at Bucyrus Community Hospital.

He was born on February 8, 1927 in Springfield, Ohio to George Edwin "Red" and Beatrice (Shaefer) Louderback, both of whom are deceased.

He is survived by his children, Jon (Teresa) Williams of Okinawa, Japan, Virginia (Jerry) Foreman of Springfield, Ohio, David (Rose) Williams of
Black Canyon City, Arizona, Karen (Michael) Brewer of Black Canyon City, Arizona, along with 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Charles is also survived by his fiancAC. and companion for many years, Idonna Gregg of Nevada and her children, Steve Gregg of Bucyrus, Sheri Furry (Billie Jo Carr) of Bucyrus, Suzanne Gregg of Port Charlotte, Florida, and the following grandchildren, Tyler (Marta)Furry, Hannah Furry, Kristen and Tim Grant and Brittany Gregg, Adam Stanley and great grandchildren Dominic and Brooklyn Grant and friends Steven Marquis, Jason Slagle, Brandon Wise.

Charles also has 2 brothers Don (Alice) Louderback of West Milton, Ohio and James (Cecilia) Louderback of Ludlow Falls, Ohio along with many nieces and nephews.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents and his wives, Barbara (Walker) Williams and Charlotte Palmer.

Charles was retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 32 years in
the Bucyrus office. He was a veteran of the Navy USS Chimaera during WWII.

Charles attended Nevada Methodist Church in Nevada and for hobbies he
enjoyed traveling and camping all over the United States and Canada.

A Memorial Service for Charles P. Louderback will be held at 2:00pm Friday, March 26, at the Nevada United Methodist Church with the Rev. Matthew Garrabrant officiating.

Visitations will be held one hour before service time, 1:00pm to 2:00pm
Friday at the church.

Graveside services will be held at a later date at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens in New Carlisle, Ohio.

Memorial contributions may be made to Nevada United Methodist Church, Homecare Matters or American Cancer Society, and can be sent to Lucas-Batton Funeral Home, 401 S. Main St. Nevada, Ohio 44849.
