Charles Edward Bennett

Charles Edward Bennett, age 62, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away surrounded by his family, on Friday, March 12, 2021, at the Cleveland Clinic

Charles was born on January 6, 1959, in Upper Sandusky, Ohio, to Edward James and Mary JoAnn (Shook) Bennett, both of whom are deceased.  He married the love of his life, Rebecca Combs on October 15, 1983, at the Trinity United Church of Christ in Upper Sandusky, and she survives.

He is also survived by his 3 sisters: Linda (Greg) Kin of Upper Sandusky, Debra (Jerry) Wolf of Carey, and Freda (Kenneth) Beamer of Upper Sandusky, along with 9 nieces and 9 nephews and many great-nieces and nephews.

Charles was a 1977 graduate of Upper Sandusky High School and went on to graduate from Findlay College with a bachelor degree in Business Administration. He worked for many years for Triumph Thermal Systems in Forest, Ohio.

He also was a life member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Upper Sandusky.

For hobbies, Charles enjoyed following the OSU Buckeyes, LA Rams, and Nascar, especially Jeff Gordon. He enjoyed flower gardening and raising roses, going out to eat, and walking his dog "Sparky".

Funeral services for Charles Edward Bennett will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, March 17, at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky with Rev. Brad McKibben officiating.  Burial will follow at Old Mission Cemetery.

Visitations will be held on Tuesday, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Lucas Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.
