Casey Wade Grove

Casey Wade Grove, age 25, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 8:41am in Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay, Ohio.

Casey was born on July 10, 1989 in Upper Sandusky, Ohio to Bill and Deb (Lehman) Grove. He is survived by his mother Deb Grove and his father and step mother, Bill (Terry) Grove, all of Upper Sandusky.

He is survived by a son Parker Wayne of Benton, a brother David Grove of Upper Sandusky, and a half sister, Chantel Grove of Tucson Arizona. Along with many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Louis and Grace Lehman, and paternal grandparents, Gordon and Esther Grove, cousins Gwen Heimrick, Nicholas Lehman and Telo Grove.

Casey was a 2008 graduate of Upper Sandusky High School and had worked for Bridgestone in Upper Sandusky. He also had worked for the following business, M-Tek, Fairborn Industries, Heritage Grain and Advanced Auto.

For hobbies, he enjoyed working on cars, from the engine to doing body work, all of which he was self taught. He was currently working on his 74 Malibu in preparation for the Upper Sandusky's annual car show this fall.

Casey also loved spending time with dog Huey, and will be remembered for his kind loving spirit, being always there for others and willing to lend a hand whenever he could be of help. And with all that Casey was enduring with his health, he never complained and never gave up the fight.

Funeral services for Casey Wade Grove will be held at 10:30am Saturday, August 2, 2014 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, with the Rev. Jim Stauffer officiating. Burial will follow at Old Mission Cemetery, Upper Sandusky.

Visitations will be held on Friday, August 1, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.
