Carolyn Joy Fruth

Carolyn Joy Fruth, 69, of Upper Sandusky, OH, died Sunday, November 28, 2010
at 9:57 a.m. at Wyandot Memorial Hospital Emergency Room in Upper Sandusky.

She was born Monday, June 2, 1941 in Bucyrus, Ohio, daughter of the late
William and Dorothy (Binau) Schmidt Sr.

She married Larry L. Fruth on July 2, 1959 in North Salem Lutheran Church.
He survives in Upper Sandusky.

Also surviving is a daughter, Linda M. (Randy) Grenwalt, a grandson, Mitchel
Grenwalt, a brother, William F. (Janis) Schmidt, Jr. and a sister, Darlene
L. Mooney all of Upper Sandusky.

Preceding her in death was a brother, Richard Schmidt.

Carolyn retired from Schmidt Machine Company in Lovell, where she was
secretary for 31 years. She was a 1959 graduate of Salem High School.

A lifelong member of North Salem Lutheran Church near Upper Sandusky,
Carolyn was very active in all facets of the church. She was currently the
editor of the monthly newsletter.

She loved fishing on Lake Erie and flying with her husband in their
airplane. A sports enthusiast, she enjoyed following her grandson throughout
his athletic career.

Friends will be received 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 4, 2010 at
North Salem Lutheran Church near Upper Sandusky.

A Memorial Service will be held at North Salem Lutheran Church, Saturday,
December 4, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Joe Trester officiating. Interment
will follow in the church cemetery.
