Carol L. Robertson

Carol Lee Robertson, age 76, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at her home in Harpster, Ohio.

Carol was born on November 18, 1949, in Upper Sandusky, to Lee and Dorothy (Bridge) Starner. She married James “Jim” Robertson Sr. on May 20, 1978, and he survives in Harpster.

Carol is also survived by her 4 children: James “Jim” (Denise) Robertson Jr. of Forest, Nathan (Michelle) Robertson of Rocky Mount, NC, Joy (Joshua) Barth of Harpster, and Aaron Blair of Marion, grandchildren: Shileigh (Mark Christie) Robertson, Dylan (Brooke) Robertson, Cassidy (James) Whitley, Jacob Dempsey, Josie Dempsey, Memphis Blair, and Caitlyn (Brendt) Michaelsen, and great grandchildren: Etta Christie, Wade and Oliver Robertson, Kinsley Michaelsen.

Carol is also survived by her sisters, Jody (Terry) Larick, and Jean (Walt) Smith, both of Harpster.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, brother Jack Starner, and nephew Adam.

Carol attended school in Harpster and graduated from Upper Sandusky High School in 1969. She worked at the former Zimmerman’s Flower Shop in Upper Sandusky for many years and then served as the postmaster in Harpster, along with working at the Harpster Mall of Antiques and Collectibles, and serving as the clerk for Harpster.

For hobbies, Carol was passionate about sewing, crafting, tending to her flowers, and going to car shows. She loved decorating for the holidays, making wreaths, watching figure skating, and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

A funeral service for Carol Robertson will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, and will be officiated by Pastor David Barth. Burial will follow at Little Sandusky Cemetery.

Visitations will be held from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm on Saturday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
