Carol A. Logsdon

Carol A. Logsdon, age 81, of Upper Sandusky, passed away at 10:27 pm on Monday, December 19, 2022, at the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center in Upper Sandusky.

Carol was born on May 29, 1941 in Wyandot County, Ohio, to Merle E. and Frances M. (Fadley) Fox, both of whom are deceased.  She married Giles Logsdon on April 29, 1960, at the St. Peter's Catholic Church in Upper Sandusky, and he passed away on September 4, 2021.

She is survived by her children: Chris (Debbie) Logsdon of Pickerington, Thia (Denny) Roszman of LaRue, Lisa (Daniel) Vaughn of Sycamore, Shawn (Elaine) Logsdon of Grove City, and Susie Logsdon of Tiffin, along with 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Carol is also survived by a brother, Charles (Alberta) Fox of Salem, Kentucky.

Carol was a homemaker and a farmer's wife, and along with Giles, owned and operated Logsdon Apple Orchard, Logsdon Stoves, and Logsdon Custom Embroidery throughout the years.

She was a 1959 graduate of Eden High School, and a member of the Transfiguration of the Lord Catholic Church in Upper Sandusky.

For hobbies Carol enjoyed sewing, gardening, canning, taking care of her animals, and her music, especially singing, playing the accordio, piano, and the guitar.

Carol will be remembered for her gentle, and loving spirit for others, and her sense of humor.  She will be greatly missed.

A funeral mass for Carol A. Logsdon will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at Transfiguration of the Lord Catholic Church with Father Conrad Sutter OFM Conv, and Deacon Kevin Winterstellar officiating.  Burial will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.

There will be a public visitation 1 hour before the service, 9:00 am to 10:00 am, at the church on Wednesday.
