Carol A. Drummond

Carol A. Drummond, age 69, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed
away on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at 11:09am in her home in Upper Sandusky.

Carol was born on January 21, 1946 in Bellefontaine, Ohio. Her father was Mark Helfinstine, mother and step father Dorothy (Winkle) & Kenneth Stroub. Her parents are deceased, and her step father Kenneth lives in Carey, Ohio. She married Charles C. Drummond and he survives.

She is survived by 4 children, Karen Pool, Shannon Drummond, Brenda Luikart and Jeremy (Serena) Drummond, all of Upper Sandusky. 10 grandchildren, Samantha (Aaron) Gallant, Maria Luikart, Patricia Drummond, Brandon Drummond, Jami (Mike) Powell, Charles Luikart, Melissa Luikart, and Britney Drummond, along with 9 great grandchildren, Aiden Gallant, Blaise Gallant, Leah Gallant, Kristian Powell, Maleaki Powell, Braylei Powell, Sway Powell and Meira Powell.

Carol is also survived by a brother, James (Deb) Stroub of Carey, and 2 sisters, Dion (Mark) Campbell of Belle Center, and Desiree Nutter of Carey.

She was preceded in death by a brother John.

Carol was a homemaker and worked for 15 years in the housekeeping department
at the Fairhaven Community in Upper Sandusky.

She enjoyed reading, collecting bird and pig figurines, and spending time
with family, especially her grandchildren.

A memorial service for Carol Drummond will be held at 11:00am Friday, August 21, 2015 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, with Rev. Jim Stauffer officiating. Burial will follow at Old Mission Cemetery, Upper Sandusky.
