Carl E Dyer

Carl E. Dyer, age 70, of Sycamore, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at his home in Sycamore.

Carl was born on March 25, 1956 in Columbus, Ohio, to Carl Dyer, who is deceased, and Mary “Polly” (Shearer) Dyer, who is living in Sycamore, He married Tina Goodale on February 27, 1981, and she passed away on July 3, 1993.

He is survived by his children: Trisha Dyer, C. Michael Dyer, Bradley Dyer, all of Sycamore, and Brock (Stephanie) Dyer of Carey. Grandchildren: Ashton, Ilyana, Aurora, Briana, Scarlett, Jynsen(Taryn), Jasmine, Cayden, Meredith, Brayden, Leiilah, Axel, Garret, Alivia, Ashton Jo, along with 2 great grandchildren, Beau Bradley, and Jamison.

Carl is also survived by his brother, Keith (Sandy) Dyer of Upper Sandusky, and a sister, Karla (Scott) Switzer of Findlay.

He was preceded in death by his father, wife Tina, and a brother, Gary Dyer.

Carl was a 1976 graduate of Mohawk High School and went on to work Jack’s Heating and Cooling, and A Triple A Heating and Cooling, both in Findlay.

For hobbies, Carl enjoyed in his younger years, playing slow pitch softball in the Sycamore Men’s League. His greatest joy was spending his time with his grandchildren.

A celebration of life service for Carl Dyer will be announced at a later date.
