Brenda Kay (Seiter) Bosley, age 71, of Morral, Ohio, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2026 at OSU Hospice with family and friends by her side.
Brenda was born on October 28, 1954, in Marion, Ohio, to the late Paul Warren Seiter and Gwendolyn Jeannine (Combs) Seiter. She graduated from Elgin High School in 1973. On October 14, 1973, she married the love of her life, Ted Allen Bosley, who survives.
Brenda worked throughout her life in retail sales, cleaning services, Faith Baptist Academy in Kenton, Morral Chemical, and most recently retired from Murphy Industries.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Brenda is survived by her husband, Ted Allen Bosley; her daughters, Leslie Ann (Bosley) Tidd and Christa Kay (Bosley) Messmer (Keith Aron Messmer); her grandchildren, Alexis (Josh Corbin), Dylan (Tracy) Altvater, Tristan (Jacque) Altvater, Alyssa Tidd, and Justine Messmer; and her great-grandchildren, Addison, Isabella, Ginger, Nicolas, and Elijah.
Brenda is survived by her siblings, Marcia Seiter Patti; Evie Seiter (Butch) Hudson; Martin Seiter; Marvin (Ann) Seiter; and Todd (Susan) Seiter; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and her beloved Golden Retrievers, Nala and Simba.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Warren Seiter and Gwendolyn Jeannine (Combs) Seiter; her son-in-law, Darrel Tidd; her infant sister, Connie Seiter her sister; Pauletta (Seiter) Stoneburner; her brother-in-law, Bill Stoneburner; her brother-in-law, Father-in-law Ray John Bosley; Mother-In-Law, Virginia Madline (Hamilton)-Bosley; Robert P. Bosley; and her nephew, Ty Stoneburner.
Brenda enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking, gardening, playing euchre, doing puzzles, and coloring. Later in life, she developed a love for photography, capturing special moments from her grandchildrens senior pictures to newborns, as well as other friends and family. She also developed a love for wildlife photography and cherished time spent outdoors.
Brenda had a special joy for shopping—and especially spending Ted’s hard-earned money. She dearly loved her husband of over 52 years, her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and cherished her sisters, brothers, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law. Brenda’s strength, faith, and love for her family will forever be remembered. “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” — Philippians 4:13
Funeral services for Brenda Bosley will be held at 5:30 pm Monday, April 13, at the Lucas Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, with Pastors Cory Prosowski and Dennis Burns officiating.
Visitations will be held on Monday, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Lucas Batton Funeral Home
