Bonita S. Stansbery

Bonita Sue Stansbery, age 67, of Bucyrus, Ohio, and formerly of Upper Sandusky, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at her home.

Bonita was born on April 17, 1958 in Upper Sandusky, to Paul and Hazel (Bell) Spillman, both of whom are deceased. She married Michal Stansbery on April 18, 2005, and he survives.

She is survived by her son, Trevor (Nicole) Harrod of Forest, a daughter, Mandy (David Crumm) Shull of Rushsylvania, Ohio, and a grandson, Chase Harrod. Along with a brother, Eddie (Tammy) Sulser of Bucyrus, and a sister, Glada Partin of Ada, Ohio.

Bonita was a 1978 graduate of Upper Sandusky High School, and went on to receive her STNA having served as a phlebotomists at the Smith Clinic in Marion, and Wyandot Memorial Hospital for many years.

For hobbies she enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting and doing crafts. She loved her crime shows and her trips with her grandson, Chase, to search for a good find at Goodwill.

Visitations for Bonita Sue Stansbery will be held on Thursday, March 12, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Lucas Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, followed by a service at the end of calling hours, 8:00pm. by Pastor Steve Sturgeon.
