Beverly A. Bowen

Beverly A. Bowen, age 78, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Saturday,
February 7, 2015 at 11:45pm in the Fairhaven Community in Upper Sandusky.

Beverly was born on November 21, 1936 in Upper Sandusky,
Ohio to Robert B. and Dorothy (Beidelschies) Armstrong. After Dorothy's passing, Robert married Gwyneth Traschel, all of whom now are deceased. Beverly married George Bowen on February 20, 1955 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Upper Sandusky, and he survives.

She is survived by 3 children, Lynn and her husband Daniel, Kilgore, Jeffrey and his wife Betsy, Bowen, Gregory and his wife Debbie Bowen, all of Upper Sandusky.
Along with 3 grandchildren, Matthew and his wife Cheryl Bowen, Jillian and her husband Travis Yeater, and Kristy Bowen and her boyfriend Nathan Crum. 6 great grandchildren, Cole, Clayton, Melanie and Walter Bowen, Levi and Adriane Yeater.

She was preceded in death by her sister and brother in law, Sylvia and Tom Miller.

Beverly was a homemaker and worked on the family farm for many years.
She was a 1954 graduate of Upper Sandusky High School, and a member for over 50 years of the John Stewart United Methodist Church in Upper Sandusky, where she was active for many years with the annual church rummage sale for the church.

She was also a member Country Modern Mother's Club, Wyan-dot Camping Club, Farming Friends Farm Bureau Council, State Camping Committee for Farm Bureau, along with being a 4H advisor in earlier years.

Beverly enjoyed for hobbies raising flowers, gardening and working outside around the home.

Funeral services for Beverly A. Bowen will be held at 11:00am Thursday, February 12, 2015 at the John Stewart United Methodist Church in Upper Sandusky with the Rev. Brian Arnold officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
