Betty J. Shuler, age 86, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 6:40pm at the Birchaven Retirement Village in Findlay, Ohio.

Betty was born on January 26, 1930 in Marion, Ohio to Leonard and Georgia (Khune) Brady, both of whom are deceased.  She married George Shuler on September 7, 1947 and he passed away on September 8, 2016.

She is survived by her children: Linda Denman of Oak Harbor, Ohio, Russell Shuler of Pace, Florida, Steve (Beverly) Shuler of Carey, and Dale (Cheryl) Shuler of Amarillo, Texas, along with 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Betty is also survived by her brothers: Richard (Pearl) Brady of Chesterfield, Michigan, Donald (Mary) Brady of Richwood, Ohio, and Lloyd Brady of Marysville, Ohio.

She was a member of Community Christian Center in Upper Sandusky, along with former memberships with First Baptist in Upper Sandusky, Anchor Church in Erlanger, Kentucky, and River of Life in Anderson, West Virginia.

Betty was a homemaker and worked at the former Westinghouse in Upper Sandusky for 10 years, and a 1947 graduate of Morral High School.

For hobbies she enjoyed sewing, reading her bible and spending time with her family.

Memorial services for Betty J. Shuler will be held at 11:00am Saturday, November 19, 2016 at the Community Christian Center in Upper Sandusky, with the Rev. Bill Williamson officiating.  Burial will follow at Chandler Cemetery in rural Upper Sandusky.

Visitations will be held on Saturday at the church 1 hour before service time, 10:00am to 11:00am.

Memorial contributions may be made to Community Christian Center, or a charity of the donor's choice and can be sent to Lucas-Batton Funeral Home, 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, Ohio, 43351.
