Betty J Robinson

Betty J. Robinson, age 79, of West Minster, Ohio, and formerly of Forest and Upper Sandusky, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2016, at her home.

Betty was born on July 21, 1936 in Pitt Township, Wyandot County, to Lawrence Ira and Dorothy May (Reynolds) Foreman, both of whom are deceased.

Betty is survived by 2 daughters, Penny Ann Chakey of Arcanum, Ohio, and Sherry Jean Yoxtheimer of Delphos, Ohio, along with 4 grandchildren: Kristina Garman, Bruce Yoxtheimer Johnathan Yoxtheimer, and   Kaylee Ann Chakey.   6 great grandchildren survive, Heaven, Tyler, McKenzie, and McKenna Yoxtheimer, and Bobbie Ann and Christopher Wilt.

She is also survived by her sisters, Thelma Koontz of Morral, Louise (Wynn) VanHorn of Lima, Gladys McNeal of Luther, Oklahoma, Judy Ann Stepp of Mansfield, Ethel Young of Forest, and Dottie Corbett of Xenia.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, brother Ira Foreman, and 2 sisters, Lawrene Weatherholtz, and Grace Newfarth.

She was a 1954 graduate of Harpster High School and went on to work for RCA in Findlay, Ohio, for 35 years.

Betty at one time attended the Apostolic Church of God in Upper Sandusky.

For hobbies she enjoyed knitting afghans, making teddy bears for all her grandkids, watching birds, deer and all wildlife.

Betty will be remembered for her loving and charitable spirit, in that she was always

giving to others.

Funeral services for Betty J. Robinson will be held at 2:00pm Thursday, March 24, 2016, in the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, with Chaplain Steve Sturgeon officiating.  Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Upper Sandusky.

Visitations will be held on Thursday, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Upper Sandusky Community Library,  St Joseph Indian School and can be sent to Lucas-Batton, 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, Ohio, 43351.
