Betty L. Johnson

Betty L. Johnson, age 63, of Bucyrus, Ohio died Sunday, August 2, 2009 at 9:20pm at the home of her sister, Karen Henry, in Galion, Ohio.

Betty was born on July 7, 1946 in Gallipolis, Ohio to Lafayette and Opal Kathleen (Wilt) Rupe both of whom are deceased. She married Charles W. Johnson on July 1, 1980 in Detroit Michigan and he survives in Bucyrus.

Also surviving Betty is a son, Hank William (Eva Marie) Rupe of Nevada, Ohio, a daughter, Valerie (Kenneth Shulaw) Taylor of Bucyrus, Ohio. Also surviving are 7 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren, one brother, Roger (Elizabeth) Rupe of Bucyrus, Ohio, and a sister, Karen Henry of Galion, Ohio.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Carl Rupe.

Betty attended Free Will Baptist Church of Bucyrus. She enjoyed watching TV, going fishing, and spending time with her dogs Princess and MoMo.

Funeral services for Betty L. Johnson will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, August 6, 2009 at the Free Will Baptist Church in Bucyrus, Ohio. Burial will follow at the Oakwood Cemetery in Bucyrus, Ohio.

Friends may come to call from on Thursday, August 6, 2009 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the Free Will Baptist Church in Bucyrus, Ohio.
