Betty C. Johns

Betty C. Johns, age 85, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay, Ohio

Betty was born on August 24, 1940, in Zanesfield, Ohio, and was preceded in death by her parents, William and Agnes Miller. She was once married to Steven Cheney.

She is survived by her daughters, Beth (Ed) Brown, and Tammy Cheney, both of Upper Sandusky, along with her grandchildren: Collin (Delaney) Brown of Cincinnati, Stephanie Sigero of Upper Sandusky, Sarena (Will Wolf) Sigero of Tiffin and Luca Wolf of Tiffin

Betty was preceded in death by her siblings, Jean Bates, and Dick Johns.

She was a graduate of Upper Sandusky High School Class of 58.

Betty was a owner/member of the Rod & Gun Club in Upper Sandusky, and was active with a couple ministries, “Toys for Tots”, and Open Door in Upper Sandusky.

She enjoyed painting angels, collecting dolls, and Barbies, and was a lover of nature. She enjoyed time in the woods, going to the ocean, and finding shells along the beach.

Betty was “the best” Grandma, and she loved to spend time with her grandkids, whether it was playing toys, or watching movies, she enjoyed being part of their lives. She will be greatly missed.

There will be a gathering Celebrating the Life of Betty Johns on Saturday, April 11, 2026 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at the Wyandot County Rod & Gun Club, 15127 Co. Hwy. 113, Upper Sandusky.
