Barbara J. Ziegler

Barbara J. Ziegler, age 79, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023, at the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Upper Sandusky.

Barb was born on October 13, 1943 in Bucyrus, Ohio, to Arthur and Frances (Iams) Mercer, both of whom are deceased.  She was once married to Harold Smith, who is deceased, Ronald Easton, and Kenneth Ziegler.

She is survived by her son, Ron (Alice) Easton of Upper Sandusky. Three grandchildren, Jesse (Chris) Hartman, Sean (Sarah) Easton, and Jen Easton, along with seven great grandchildren, Lilly, Tori, Emery, Zoe, Elliot, Samuel and Eliza.

Barb had worked at the former Budd Company in Carey for 20 years.

She enjoyed traveling throughout the United States, watching the birds in her bird houses, along with the squirrels, doing crafts, cooking, and was an avid cat lover.

Funeral services for Barbara Ziegler will be private with Pastor Steve Sturgeon officiating.  Burial will follow at Old Mission Cemetery.
