Barbara J. (Bobbie Jo) Johns

Barbara J. "Bobbie Jo" Johns, age 69, of LaRue, Ohio passed away on Monday, March 12, 2012 at 4:51pm at the Marion General Hospital in Marion.

Bobbie Jo was born on February 20, 1943 in Little Sandusky, Ohio to Owen Newton and Edna Alice (Elam) Cox, both of whom are deceased. She married Lester L. Johns on June 14, 1963 in Upper Sandusky, Ohio and he survives in LaRue, Ohio.

Bobbie Jo is also survived by two sons, Scott K. (Heather) Johns of Marion, Ohio and Michael A. (Michelle) Johns of Oakland, Rhode Island, six grandchildren, Andrew, Kendall, Lana, Matthew, Angie and Magen, a brother Zane (Joyce) Cox of Harpster, Ohio and sister, Dorothy (Jimmie) Wolfrum of Warsaw, Indiana.

Bobbie Jo was preceded in death by her parents and an infant son, Mark.

Bobbie Jo graduated from Upper Sandusky High School in 1962. She worked in the Home Healthcare industry. For hobbies she enjoyed classic country music, studying the bible, and she loved to spend time with her family.

A Memorial Service for Barbara J. "Bobbie Jo" Johns will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky with the Rev. Michael Reynolds officiating the services.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation in care of the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, Ohio 43351.
