Arlene L. Dillion, age 92, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, went to be with her Lord and Savior,Wednesday, November 12, 2014, at 11:30pm, in the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Upper Sandusky.
Arlene was born on February 1, 1922 in Mifflin Township, Wyandot County to Jackson A. and Inis M. (Justice) Fox. She married Emery Fink, deceased. She then married Harold Dillion, a union of forty years; and he is also deceased.
She is survived by a daughter Sharon (James) Sanderson of Upper Sandusky, 4 grandchildren: C. Scott Sanderson, Jennifer (Kevin) McKeigue, Shelley (Luke) Eisenbraun, and Matthew (Elizabeth) Sanderson. 7 great grandchildren: Holly and Zoie Sanderson, Seth Bennett, Jackson and Dillon McKeigue, Benjamin and Nicholas Eisenbraun.
Arlene, a homemaker worked at G.E., followed by 30 years at the Timken Co. in Bucyrus,Ohio.
She was a 1939 graduate of Upper Sandusky High School, and a lifelong member of the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, where she served the church as a Sunday school teacher, pianist, and was a leader of the Y.F.
Arlene also was a member of the Col. Wm. Crawford Chapter, of the D.A.R., where she served as a chaplain, Warpole Chapter: Order of the Eastern Star, Farm Bureau and the Women's Music Club
A memorial service for Arlene L. Dillion will be held at 11:00am Saturday,
November 22, 2014, at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home, in Upper Sandusky, with Pastor Rick Snyder officiating.
Visitations will be held on Saturday 1 hour prior to service time, 10:00am to 11:00am at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the following organizations:
