Alma LouAnn Parker, age 84, passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at the Fairhaven Community in Upper Sandusky.
Alma was born on October 17, 1937, in San Bernadino, CA, to Charles Edward Henry and Etheyl (Meredith) Shepherd. She marries James F. Parker Sr., on September 30, 1955, and he preceded her in death on July 26, 2008.
Alma is survived by her daughter, Pam (Randy) Allard of Morral, two grandchildren, Jayme Basinger of Upper Sandusky, Adam (Chastity) Allard of Harpster, great granddaughter, Lynzie Basinger of Galion, brother in law Ed Shults of Marion, nephew Todd (Paula) Shults of Upper Sandusky, great niece Diana Dye of Delaware and her nephew in law Ples Dye of Marion.
Alma was preceded in death by her parents, and her son James F. Parker Jr., two sisters: Charlotte Shults and Debra McDaniel, and her niece Sandy Dye.
Alma was quite proud of her Cherokee heritage. She loved listening to Elvis Presley and Wayne Newton and watching John Wayne movies.
A private graveside service will be held at Grand Prairie Cemetery in Marion, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Shriner's Hospital for Children and can be sent to Lucas-Batton at 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, OH 43351.
