Alice L. (Mosman) King

Alice Louise (Mosman) King, age 92, passed away at 2:18 PM on Thursday, May 22, 2025, in Upper Sandusky, Ohio.

Alice was born to Lloyd Scott and Hazel Mary (Snavely) Mosman on February 24, 1933, in Wyandot County, Ohio. She married Myron V. King on March 7, 1954, and he preceded her in death on July 31, 2010.

Alice is survived by her children: Daniel (Linda) King of rural Nevada, Douglas King of Upper Sandusky, Tamara Groves of Upper Sandusky. Grandchildren: Jeremy (Jennifer) King of rural Nevada, Alex (Thomas Engel) King of Toledo, Elizabeth (Colton Row) Groves of rural Alvada, great grandchildren Jade, Jayla, Jessa, and Jace King, Caden, Waylan, Wyatt, and Cohen Row.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and her infant grandson Eric Daniel King, son of Dan and Linda King. Siblings: Helen Margraf, Glen Robert "Bob" Mosman, Catherine West Walton, twin brother Charles Lee Mosman.

Alice graduated from Nevada High School in 1951 and belonged to the Nevada Lutheran Church for over 50 years, the former Nevada Town & Country Mothers Cub, and the former Nevada Lioness Club. Alice's greatest joy was being with all her family and her love of God. She also loved to cook, sew, her many flower gardens, life on the farm, and music. In her younger years she enjoyed singing and dancing. After moving to Upper Sandusky, she enjoyed volunteering at Wyandot Memorial Hospital and playing cards with her friends on Sunday afternoon.

A memorial service for Alice King will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, and will be officiated by Pastor Steve Sturgeon.

Visitations will be held from 9:00 – 11:00 AM on Thursday, prior to the service.
