Alice M. Lehman

Alice M. Lehman, age 96, formerly of Forest, passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2011 at 5:45am at the Fairhaven Retirement and Healthcare Community in Upper Sandusky.

Alice was born on February 15, 1915 in Kenton, Ohio to Harrison and Marguerite (Marchant) Weber both of whom are deceased. She married David Lehman in 1936 and he passed away on March 29, 1952.

Surviving is a son Gary Lehman of Upper Sandusky and a daughter Nancy Woolley-Woods of Forest. 8 grandchildren, David Lehman, Denny Lehman, Sue Baker, Angie Brose, Kim Camper, Jill Spurlock, Amy Vogel and Danielle Burd and 18 great grandchildren, Casey Lehman, Alicia Lehman, Ashley Lehman Molly Lehman, Anika Lehman, Milissa Lehman, Drew Baker, Ben Baker, Jessica Brose, Joshua Brose, Kristin Camper-Perkins, Kelsie Camper, Kelly Spurlock, Alexa Spurlock, Mathew Vogel, Amanda Vogel, Elizabeth Burd and Ryan Burd and 3 great great grandchildren.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents, husband and great grandson Cody Camper and 2 brothers Robert and George Weber.

Alice was retired from the GE in Findlay where she had worked for over 20 years.
She was a former member the the Ladies Auxillary American Legion Post #259 in Forest and the former OES Chapter in Forest.

For hobbies Alice enjoyed shopping, yard work, reading, bingo, puzzles and card games. She also loved her family and showed this by being a wonderful mother and grandmother, who loved to bake cupcakes for her grandkids.

Graveside services for Alice M Lehman will be held at 2:30pm Thursday, March 17, 2011 at Hueston Cemetery in Forest with the Rev. Steve Umphress officiating.
