A. Jane Roberts

Jane Roberts of Nevada died Monday, March 17, 2008 at 6:50pm of lung cancer. She was 68.

She was born January 21, 1940 in Lewis County, Kentucky to Dick and Melvia (Esham) Rose both of whom are deceased. She then married Ray Roberts who is also deceased.

Surviving are one son Deryll Keatting of Nevada, OH, two daughters, Crystal Leitzy of Monnett, OH, and Jamie (Jay) Postell of Bucyrus, OH, and five grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Irene (Jim) Bally of Oberlin, OH, and Sharon (Wayne) Poe of Maysville, KY, and two brothers, Fred (Audrey) Rose of Hillsboro, OH and Bill Rose of Woodstock, GA.

Preceding her in death was a son, Keith Rhoden, and a daughter, Tammy Volkmer, a half sister, Marcella Verbarg, and two sisters, Opal Medley, Mrs. Tom (Marlene) Holdcraft, and one brother, Harold (Lillian) Rose.

Mrs. Roberts was a homemaker and also retired from Millington Plastics- Blackhawk in Upper Sandusky. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2008 at 2:00pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Nevada, Ohio. Pastor Mike Wiechers will be officiating the services. Burial will be at the Nevada Cemetery.

Visitations will be on Wednesday, March 19 from 6-8pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Nevada, Ohio.
