Suzanne Bremyer Beall, age 89, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 7:50am at the Fairhaven Community in Upper Sandusky after several years of declining health.
Suzanne was born on December 9, 1929 in Upper Sandusky and was the youngest child of Lloyd and Alice (Vogel) Bremyer. After 30 plus years of dating, she married George W. Beall, and he passed away on July 4, 1997.
She is survived by her sister in law, Joyce (Lucius) Bremyer of Tiffin, along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents are John B Bremyer and Mary (Shrenk) Bremyer. Her maternal grandparents are Henry Vogel and Anna (Roelle) Vogel. Brothers and sisters of Suzanne preceding her in death include: Martha (Bremyer) Miller, Mary Louise (Bremyer) Tritschler, Edward V. Bremyer , and Dr. John H. Bremyer. Brother-in-laws: Charles H. Miller, and Walter O. Tritschler and a sister-in-law Patricia (Donnely) Bremyer.
Suzanne graduated from St. Peter’s grade school, Upper Sandusky High School, and received her pharmacy degree from Ohio Northern University, Ada, Ohio in 1951. While at Ohio Northern University, she was voted the president of the freshman class, President of the Phi Chi Sorority, and Pan Hellenic Society. Also, she was featured on the cover of the 1951 University Alumni book. She held membership in the Junior Pharmacy Association and the Northern Ohio Bergund Tal Mid-Ohio Snow Ski Club; member of the Marion Power Squadron; charter and founding member of Holy Trinity’s Cemetery Board in 1984; served on the Bucyrus Bratwurst committees and judging teams; active in Elks Club and American Legion, Bucyrus Chapter; and founded the Friday 13th luncheon group. Throughout her life she was
active on various Holy Trinity Church committees including decorating local cemetery entrances with wreathes; active with the Bucyrus Community
Concert Series. She was a lifetime member of the Democratic Party. Under the leadership of five different mayors, she was appointed to the Crawford County Health Board; served on the Ohio Health Board; Marion-Galion Health Committee; and Task Force Free Medical Clinic.
Her professional journey started at Koehler Drug Store, Upper Sandusky, Harry Haney’s Pharmacy, hill top area (West Broad St), Columbus, Ohio, and various pharmacies in Bucyrus, Ohio. In her professional career, she always remembered customers’ names and often delivered medications to those unable to pick them up.
She was a woman of high moral integrity and often providing advice to people on how to solve their problems. Anyone visiting her home, always left with a gift.
She was forever grateful for the sacrifice her parents made providing them with higher educations.

A Funeral Mass for Suzanne Bremyer Beall will be held at 10:00am Friday, October 11, 2019 at Transfiguration of the Lord Church with Father Conrad Sutter, OFM Conv, and Deacon Kevin Winterstellar officiating. Interment at Catawba Township Cemetery, Port Clinton with Pastor Steve Sturgeon.
