Steven E. Kieffer

Steven E. Kieffer, age 65 of Upper Sandusky, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 10:22pm at the Wyandot Memorial Hospital in Upper Sandusky.

Steve was born on February 14, 1952 in Upper Sandusky, Ohio to Irven and Barbara (Larcomb) Kieffer.  His mother is deceased and his father, Irven is living in Upper Sandusky.

He is survived by his sister Kathy (Frank) Stecker of Dearborn, Michigan, along with 2 nieces Kimberly (Greg) Everly of Troy, Michigan, and Anitra Coomer  of Ypsilanti, Michigan. 

Steve graduated from Upper Sandusky High School in 1970, and shortly after graduation, he traveled to Europe worked for the U.S. Government in the recreational department, Berchtesgaden, Germany.

Steve was a travel guide for Tauck Tours and Cruises for many years serving as a guide in Europe and the United States.

He was a member of Trinity Evangelical United Methodist Church in Upper Sandusky where he was active in small group and the church motorcycle group. 

For hobbies he enjoyed traveling, and music, especially playing his guitar and flute.

A Memorial Service Celebrating the Life of Steven E. Kieffer will be held a 1:00pm Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at the Trinity Evangelical U.M.C. 108 Malabar Dr. in Upper Sandusky with Rev. Jim Stauffer and Steve Sturgeon officiating. 

Visitations will be held 2 hours before service time on Wednesday, from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the church in Upper Sandusky.

Memorial contribuions may be made to the Honduras Mission Team - Trinity Evangelical UMC, or Hospice of Wyandot County and can be sent to Lucas-Batton, 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, Ohio, 43351.
