She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Marion and later attended Bucyrus Assembly of God for many years. She taught children’s church, Sunday school, and numerous Bible studies. She was also a member of Nevada’s Mother’s Club.
Rosalyn faced the challenge of becoming legally blind at age 30. She started a Low Vision Support group in Bucyrus to help others adjust to vision loss and it is still active today. She loved tea parties, collecting pretty dishes, and her later years her Shih tzu Sammy, brought her much joy. She also enjoyed making crafts (especially with her grandchildren) and was an avid reader and traveler.
