Cheryl Ann Leeth

Cheryl Ann Leeth, age 60, of Carey, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland Ohio.

She was born on February 26, 1957 in Upper Sandusky, Ohio to Russell “Pinky” and Marilyn Jean (Plott) Barnett, both of whom are deceased.  She is survived by her stepmother, Jeananne Heffelfinger, Upper Sandusky.

Cheryl is also survived by her 3 children: Brandee (Aaron) Donelson of Carey, Ohio, Summer (Ben) DeWitt of Delaware, Ohio, and Michael McDonald of Carey. 4 grandchildren: Alyssa Jo McDonald, Haylee Ann McFarlin, Landen James DeWitt, and Carter William DeWitt.  Along with 6 siblings, Beverly (Charles) Walton of Upper Sandusky, Charles Heffelfinger, Sr. of Arcadia, Russell “Rusty” Heffelfinger, Jr. of Carey, Gerald “Butch” Heffelfinger of Carey, Kathy (Edward) Landrum of Upper Sandusky, and Andrew Barnett of Mount Vernon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Michael “Porky” Barnett, and a sister, Lisa Kuenzli.

Cheryl was a homemaker and had worked for Fairborn Industries in Upper Sandusky, and also did babysitting for many years.

She enjoyed finding coupons for herself and others, the Wizard of Oz, raising flowers, going to Myrtle Beach, following the Steelers and Buckeyes, and spending time with her family. 

Funeral services for Cheryl Ann Leeth will be held at 3:00pm Friday, December 8, 2017 in the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, with Pastor Bill Williamson officiating.  Burial will follow at Old Mission Cemetery, Upper Sandusky.

Visitations will be held on Friday from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.
