Charles C. Drummond, age 75, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 3:24pm at his home.
Charles was born on December 2, 1942 in his family home in Carey, Ohio to John Chester Sr., and Virginia (Cupp) Drummond, both of whom are deceased. He was married to Carol A. Helfinstine and she passed away on August 18, 2015.
He is survived by his children: Karen Pool, Shannon Drummond, Brenda Luikart and Jeremy (Serena) Drummond, all of Upper Sandusky. His grandchildren, Samantha (Aaron) Gallant, Maria (Lyle) Higgins, Patricia Drummond, Brandon Drummond, Jami (Mike) Powell, Charles Luikart, Melissa Luikart, and Britney Drummond, along with 11 great grandchildren, Aiden Gallant, Blaise Gallant, Leah Gallant, Kristian Powell, Malenki Powell, Braylei Powell, Sway Powell, Meira Powell, Makenlee Higgins, Clayton and Cade Luikart.
Charles is also survived by a brother, Bobby (Peggy) Drummond of Mt. Blanchard, along with 3 sisters: Dorthy Young of Findlay, Mary Mathias of Findlay, and Doris Bonzheim of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and a brother John C. Drummond, Jr.
Charles worked maintenance for several years at the Fairhaven Community in Upper Sandusky, along with doing carpentry.
For hobbies he enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking.
A memorial service for Charles C. Drummond will be held at 11:00am Monday, May 14, 2018 at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky with Rev. Jim Stauffer officiating. Burial will held at Old Mission Cemetery.
Visitations will be held 1 hour before service time on Monday, from 10:00am to 11:00am.
