Arlene C. Marshall, age 97, of Morral, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2018, at the Community Care & Rehabilitation Center in Marion, Ohio.
Arlene was born on June 16, 1920, at the Bibler Family Homestead in Brush Ridge to Cecil and Hannah (Miller) Bibler. She married Wilfred “Bub” Marshall on May 10, 1941.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth Marshall, 2 grandchildren: Eric (Andrea) Marshall, and Tara (Scott) Swingle, along with 4 great-grandchildren: Amari Garcia, Ethan Marshall, and Zion and Javan Swingle. In addition, she is survived by her daughter-in-law, Laura Marshall, and special friends Darla Hicks and Judy McGinnis.
Arlene was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a great-granddaughter, and a brother, Wilmer Bibler.
Arlene was a 1938 graduate of Grand Prairie High School and also attended Marion Business College for one year.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed many hobbies such as cooking, baking and decorating cakes, and preparing food for Salt Rock Volunteer Fire Department Festivals. She also enjoyed watching and feeding her birds, raising flowers, going for car rides, eating ice cream, and always appreciated a good cup of coffee with a piece of pie.
She will be remembered for her love of family and friends.
Tuesday services for Arlene C. Marshall will be private, with burial at Grand Prairie Cemetery in Brush Ridge.
