Susan K. Hutchinson

Susan K. Hutchinson, age 68, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Monday, December 18, 2017 at 4:10 am at the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Upper Sandusky.

Sue was born on May 20, 1949 in Upper Sandusky, Ohio to Gail and Rose (Smith) Stouder, both of whom are deceased.  She married David G. Hutchinson on April 30, 1967 in Upper Sandusky, and he passed away on July 15, 1997.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews, along with 3 close friends, Peggy Stark of Carey, JoAnne McNamara of Upper Sandusky, and Jeanne Heffelfinger of Upper Sandusky.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 brothers, James and William, a sister Mary Moses, and a half-brother, Edmond James.

Susan worked as a dietary aide for the Wyandot County Nursing Home for many years. 

She was a member of the Upper Sandusky Church of the Nazarene, where she was active in many church ministry activities.

For hobbies she enjoyed playing computer games, listening to Christian music, and spending time and having good conversation with family and friends.

Funeral services for Susan K. Hutchinson will be held at 11:00am Thursday, December 21, 2017 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, with Rev. Jed Brake officiating.  Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Visitations will be held on Wednesday, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.

Memorial contributions may be made to Upper Sandusky Church of the Nazarene, Hospice of Wyandot County, or the Activities Fund of the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  Memorials can be sent to Lucas-Batton Funeral Home, 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, Ohio 43351.
