Robby Lee (Bobby to his "67 Huron Football teammates) was a wonderful, humble man. It was a pleasure knowing him for my senior year at Eastern. I have not stayed in touch with the University much, and It took a good man like Bobby to get me to sigh up for the 50 year reunion this Sat. Thanks Bobby. It will be great seeing many teammates this weekend, thanks to your efforts, but we will sure miss you. Your family and friends will be in my prayers. Bob Edelbrock

Dear Sharon, Erica, Kara and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I have known Robbie all of my life as he used to spend a lot of time at our house to visit Fruitcake when I was growing up. We spent a lot of time at the house in the country, too. I remember the day Sharon and Robbie got married, and when both of the girls were born. Robbie was a good friend to my brother Chris as well as my dad, and he always had a sense of humor. My thought and prayers are with all of you through this difficult time of loss.

I was with Bobby at the EMU / Kentucky football game Sept. 30. He and I were teammates and friends for over 40 years. Bobby was a loyal EMU alum. He supported the team with donations and his physical presence. He will be greatly missed by those of us in the EMU community. Bobby organized travel to away games each year for a group of former players. These trips will never be the same without him being there. Thank you Bobby for all you have done and for being a good friend.

What an awesome man!!! I so looked forward to his class each and every day in junior high. There was a different sense of peace and freedom in his class. He was someone you could tell genuinely cared and made you feel important. He never forgot the book report on Roadrunners that I did in his class; and would always call out "beep-beep" whenever he would see me, most recently at Wal-Mart last week, 40 years after I wrote the report... His genuine caring touched my heart forever. He will be missed greatly... God Bless his family

He was one of a kind and we will remember Robbie as long as we live. RIP Robbie... David J Larcomb LTC USA (Ret.)

We have all lost a great friend, teacher, coach, and mentor. I certainly hope that Robbie's family can take comfort in the fact that he was such a special person to so many people from all walks of life. When I was a grade-school boy in Upper, I looked up to Robbie Lee as an athlete and someone I wanted to emulate. Now a man, I still admire Robbie for his willingness to give of himself and to take time for others. I still want to be like Robbie and will dedicate my remaining life to trying to live up to his example!

Someone once said that old friends are the best friends. Robbie was that kind of friend to me and so many of us. Though our paths seldom crossed our infrequent meetings and phone calls always brought back memories as teenagers sitting on the front porch on Front Street solving the world's problems. He was one in a million, energetic, optimistic, enthusiastic, caring, and fun. But for so many of his 1965 classmates he was a good friend and will be so missed by all who knew him. I'm sure God must have something special in mind for him!

May God bless Sharon and family. May your grief be turned to joy as you remember this wonderful man.
