Krista was a friend from Galion, and then we taught together at Lakota. She was such a sweet person. I remember her subbing for me when I went on maternity leave from Jackson-Liberty, and she was taking time off when she had Jeremy. I was so glad she was in my classroom cause I knew how caring she was. I'm so sorry to hear of her passing.

Message from Kim Kancler, former teacher at Bettsville

Krista is, by far, one of the absolute dearest people I have ever known. She emitted an aura like that of a saint, constantly reflecting the love and kindness of her heart. I have always admired Krista's strong sense of faith, as it brought her such peace and strength, throughout all aspects of her life. She inspired me to maintain optimism and perseverance in life, no matter what the challenge . In some of my most difficult times, Krista was always there with a warm smile and a hug to comfort me. (Hugs were never in shortage for ANYONE!) Her students adored and loved her. She was more than a teacher, but also a mentor and parent to those who needed it most. This world just lost a tremendous human being, but heaven undoubtedly gained an angel. My prayers and sincerest condolences go out to Krista's family.
