Julius E. Colvin, age 58, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2018 in rural Upper Sandusky, from an automobile accident.
Julius was born on May 14, 1959 in Sandusky, Ohio, to John E. and Esther L. (Barlow) Colvin. His father is deceased and his mother is living in Sandusky. He married Alicia Amesquita on June 13, 2009 at Trinity Evangelical United Methodist Church in Upper Sandusky, and she survives.
He is also survived by 2 daughters: Amber Haskins of Sandusky, and Angel Colvin of Upper Sandusky. A sister, Teresa Moore, of Sandusky, also survives along with many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, and a great great nephew, Tremere X Colvin.
Julius was employed for the past 11 years at Bridgestone APM Company in Upper Sandusky.
He was a 1977 graduate of Sandusky High School and went on to Ohio University in Athens for Business Management.
Julius was a member of Trinity Evangelical U.M.C. and for hobbies he enjoyed his Friday morning bowling league, fishing, shooting pool, playing chess, and following his Dallas Cowboys, Yankee’s and the OSU Buckeyes.
He will be remembered for his caring heart for others, and his love for his family, especially his mom, wife and daughters.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, January 31, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.
