W. Jeanne Swihart, age 88, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2017 at 6:35pm at the Wyandot Memorial Hospital in Upper Sandusky.

 

 Jeanne was born on November 5, 1928 in Upper Sandusky to Cecil F. and Florence M. (Fox) Zeller, both

of whom are deceased.  She married Marvin L. Swihart on December 25, 1946 and he passed away on August 25, 2002.

 

She is survived by her daughter Linda E. (Carrol Junior Justice) Yeater of Upper Sandusky, a granddaughter Laurel (Bill) Thompson of Nevada, great granddaughter Morgan (Zaine)  Clevidence, and a great great granddaughter Ellinor  Clevidence. 

 

Jeanne is also survived by a brother Fred Zeller of St. Louis, Missouri, and a nephew Ronald (Gail) Zeller of Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania.

 

 

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

 

Jeanne was a homemaker and a bookkeeper for the former Ruttman Construction and Craycraft Trucking, both in Upper Sandusky. 

 

She was a life time member of the Emanuel United Church of Christ in rural Upper Sandusky, and a graduate of Upper Sandusky High School.

 

For hobbies she enjoyed working with flowers, reading, and ballroom dancing and camping with her husband Marvin in their earlier years.  She will be dearly missed.

 

Funeral services will be private with services conducted by Rev. Jay Scott.  Burial will be at Old Mission Cemetery, Upper Sandusky.
